Actor Miloš Biković appeared in a public interview for the first time after the premiere of his new film, “Izolation.” During the interview, which aired on Kurir Television, Biković discussed the film’s message and the fact that we are all under societal scrutiny.
Biković observed that human behavior has drastically changed under surveillance, as people are conscious of being watched and crave attention. Biković said his situation is different due to his profession, but no one really has privacy anymore, a phenomenon he referred to as a “civilizational disaster.”
Discussing his career with Ljubomir Radanov, the editor of culture at Kurir, Biković shared the project was long and challenging. He expressed delight at the number of people who viewed the film, an indicator of its success. Radanov endorsed the film and praised Biković’s acting as “perfect.”
On a personal note, Biković took time to share his views about paparazzi and the intrusion of his private life. He acknowledged that while celebrities need some degree of protection from overexposure, paparazzi are just doing their job in a system that encourages such activities.
Biković is currently shuttling between Serbia and Russia where he is shooting a new film. Asked about his experience of 2024, he remarked jokingly, “There will be a headline about this being the best year of my life.”
